Mercurius FM is a producer and DJ hailing from Phoenix, Az. His first big success was his remix of soul legend Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing. Heralded by Rolling Stone Magazine Online as making “one of the greatest songs ever written even sexier. It may be possible to get pregnant just by playing this.” Indeed he has received notice and attention from such esteemed artists as Justice, MSTRKRFT, Chromeo, Sebastien Grainger and others. He has a record scheduled to come out next year which has already been playlisted by MSTRKRFT.

He started his experiments in music production around 15 years old after being inspired by the fresh and funky French House producers of the late 90s and early 2000s. He spent many years of his youth painstakingly working on countless remixes and tracks just for the pure enjoyment of honing his craft. Mercurius FM is rooted deep in House & Techno taking heavy influence from such pioneers as Daft Punk, Felix Da Housecat, Lifelike and Armand Van Helden among others. His various remixes and original tracks, spanning artists like Chaka Khan and Queen to Kap10Kurt and Armand Van Helden, have been featured on many popular blogs including Boppernation, PalmsOut, Discobelle and Vice Record’s Official Blog.

Mercurius FM doesn’t forget the dancefloor either, since he’s playlisted by DJ’s holding it down all over the globe. He may not be a star and maybe doesn’t want to be, but he certainly has his eyes set on the top.
