This was a remix I made with stems for a group called Bad Tits. It was a Sebastien Grainger & Josh Reichmann project that never seemed to fully materialize. I made this back in 2010 and figured some people might like to hear it. It was really cool working with Grainger’s vocals and guitar work.

Baile Techno features influence from the rhythms of brazilian music, specifically a popular style of club music there called baile funk (also funk carioca, favela funk). Despite it’s name, it is an entirely different sound than funk music in America, rather it leans heavily on a electronic percussion and vocal samples. I’ve adopted elements of this sound and fused it with my own signature production.

I’m proud to announce my new single, BAILE TECHNO, is coming out next Wednesday, May 15, 2013. New artwork by Melissa B (Toronto) will be revealed this weekend. Baile Techno will be self published in 2 forms worldwide. A medium quality version (128kbps MP3) will be offered for free via Soundcloud and a perfect quality version via BandCamp for only $1 USD where you may buy it as 320kbps Mp3 FLAC, ALAC (Apple Lossless), AAC, or Ogg Vorbis. If the track sells well, I may give out stems for remix purposes to release it as a commercial EP on my label (which I’m currently in the process of relaunching).
