I’ve always had a passion for video games and their music, not only as a listener, but also as an award winning creator of game music. I’m excited to share my thoughts on the subject with you during Phoenix Comicon.

Join us as we discuss the elements which lead to dystopia and it’s downfall, from Orwell to cyberpunk to Hunger Games. Topics will include mega corporations, cybernetics, transhumanism, and government oppression.
HISTORY OF DOOM: THE RISE AND FALL OF ID SOFTWARE
When: 1:30PM – 2:30PM

How did a small group of computer programming wiz-kids become Ferrari-driving gaming rockstars? This panel discusses the history of Id Software including Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Quake. We also look at what they’re doing now, and what the future could hold. This will also include a discussion on the controversial 2016 Doom reboot.

With the rise of both video games and dance music to mainstream popularity, gamers and DJ’s are often one and the same. We have curated a selection of some of the very best video game remixes ever made. Video game remixes demonstrated will range from Sonic and Mega Man to Doom and F-Zero.
