Electronic music producer Mercurius FM is releasing Arkanoid, the debut single on his record label Broken Synth Recordings. It is a retro flavored synthwave release available on March 24th, 2016. Originally recorded during a video game development competition (which his team won), Mercurius FM took the basic demo he created in an hour and transformed it into a full on dance track. With the original mix clocking in at a casual 120 BPM, you get a uniquely synthetic sound, coupled with a funky beat that can jam along with retro champions such as Chromeo and LifeLike. Mercurius FM follows it up with a 128 BPM club mix featuring enhanced percussion and a much heavier sound. Finally, for the audio nerds and DJs, there is a “Drumapella” which solos in on the ‘Prince-esque’ 80s drum machine beat. The original mix will be available as a free download for a limited time along with his synthwave remix of the ending music from Blade Runner.
Mercurius FM is an electronic music artist. His award winning tracks get play by influential DJ’s around the world.
